In 1872, Eduard Lingel began making shoes in Erfurt with five employees.
Within a few decades, this grew into one of Germany's significant shoe factories.

The Original Lingel
The blue oval reading “Die Fabrik für Herrenschuhe” (the factory for men's shoes) is a sign of the historic brand. LINGEL men's shoes were offered for work, sport, travel and leisure, and were known for quality and good value.
